YSM History

The YSM system was envisioned and developed collaboratively by youth service providers, educators, and community planners to meet their information and knowledge management needs for youth services.

Development of YSM was sponsored by the Austin Independent School District (AISD) through their Safe Schools Healthy Students ACCESS Grant, beginning in 2008. YSM planning and prototype development began in 2003 as an initiative of the Ready by 21 Coalition with support from Workforce Solutions Capital Area.
